Cooler Perfumes
Cooler perfumes are specialty fragrance liquids designed to be added to the water tank of an evaporation air cooler, or a car air freshener, to scent the air. They are different from standard perfumes, which are formulated for skin application. The term can also refer to fragrances for personal wear that evoke a "cooler" or more refreshing feeling, such as light, aquatic, or citrus scents.
Features of cooler perfumes
Method of diffusion: These perfumes are water-soluble oils or liquids that blend with the water in an air cooler. As the water evaporates, the fragrance is naturally dispersed through the room by the cooling fan.
Odor control: They are primarily used to mask and eliminate the musty or unpleasant "damp" smell that can sometimes come from a cooler's water tank due to regular use.
Multipurpose use: Many products can also be used as a standard room air freshener, an addition to floor-cleaning water, or for scenting clothes during the final rinse.
